Personalized Nutrition Counseling

Are you a student, a professional, or even a parent finding difficulty in balancing the stresses of daily life with a healthy diet, impactful exercise and quality sleep habits? Or do you find it difficult to do all of that plus take the time to unwind?

While nutrition is a foundational aspect of our time working together, our sessions will be spent discussing how to strike that very important balance. We’ll address all of the factors of well-being, not just diet. You could think of it as having your very own lifestyle coach and nutrition counselor.

Whether it’s having more energy, figuring out how to stop those sleepless nights, or losing weight you’ve been wanting to get rid of, my goal is to support you in finding your best feeling self.

What you can expect

The key to successful communication is and will always be…listening. This is the cornerstone of my practice, and this is what you can always expect when working with me.

All things will be considered, whether it’s your daily eating routine, health history, or lifestyle factors such as sleep, physical activity and stress management. From there, we will together walk through a personalized set of recommendations and steps to get you started.

Making A Change

Change can be overwhelming for most us. This is why we will engage each step/change with patient, deliberate strides, focusing on the task-at-hand and teaching you how and what to eat for optimal health.

If weight loss is part of your goal, we will discuss how to implement long-lasting, lifelong healthy behaviors. Too often, we forget that weight loss is the result of practicing healthy habits, both consciously and unconsciously, on a daily basis.

Using a carefully strategized and simple plan, you’ll learn how to meal prep, how to cook to have leftovers, how to eat mindfully to reduce stress-eating, and how to incorporate exercise into your busy schedule. Additionally, armed with this newly acquired knowledge, you’ll learn how to navigate the grocery store like a pro!

Visual Learning

Throughout your personalized nutrition consult, we will use visuals to learn how this plan can work for you by taking photos and recorded information to remind you how to balance your plate. If you prefer the hands-on approach to learning, we’ll meet to learn about products and ingredients at your local grocery store. By the end, you’ll be able to decipher nutrition labels (to avoid that sugar crash!), learn how to pick ripe, fresh produce…all while shopping to save you money.

A Support System

There is no doubt, education and careful planning make a world of difference, but at some point there must be motivation. As a lifestyle coach, my goal is to provide you with the encouragement, support, and motivation you need to put the knowledge you will have gained to use in making your health a priority.

My goal is to help you achieve your goal and have the energy to keep moving. You will have earned a sense of pride in your accomplishments and take with you healthy habits throughout your life and others around you.
